About the Founder

My name is Tyler Chubb, I am the owner of Antler Adventures. I have been actively  involved in the outdoors my whole life. Born and raised in Manitoba Canada, I was exposed to hunting, fishing and trapping at a very young age by my father and grandfather. It was at the age of 11 when I got into archery, and this is when my passion for bowhunting became a real focus.  I started my career in the hunting industry when I was 16 helping a local black bear outfitter run baits, but could not legally guide hunters until the age of 18. By the age of 18 I was involved in my apprenticeship as a machinist which didn't result in much guiding. With my apprenticeship finished at age 21, I decided to pack up all my hunting gear and go travelling to the South Pacific! This basically turned into a 2 year working/hunting adventure. Living 1 year in New Zealand and 1 year in Australia, I was able to make plenty of contacts in the hunting industry. Returning to Canada in the summer of 2013 I started to guide extensively across Canada and the USA. It was then I realized that I still had a strong urge to travel, yet still wanted to return to my home country to guide in the Autumn. A good friend of mine had suggested to me at the end of the 2013 guiding season, that I start my own hunting consulting/booking business. I thought this was a great idea as it's a job I can do while I travel and also ensures that I have work come hunting season in Canada so that's how I came to start Antler Adventures.
